Full-vessel or single-space yacht interiors, drawn to the general arrangement

Modenese Gastone furnishes the whole vessel or one space at a time: the main saloon, the owner's suite, guest staterooms, formal dining, the sky lounge and the wheelhouse lounge. Each is built lightweight, sealed for salt air and reviewed against marine fire rules, in classic Italian style.

What does the yacht interior design service cover?

The yacht interior design service at Modenese Gastone covers a full vessel or a single space: the main saloon, the owner's suite, guest staterooms, formal dining, the sky lounge and the wheelhouse lounge. Each is drawn to the general arrangement, built lightweight to marine rules and finished in classic Italian style.

The service can run as a full interior package or as individual spaces. A refit might touch only the main saloon and formal dining, while a new build takes the whole vessel from the owner's suite through the guest staterooms. The studio scales the work to the yard's programme rather than a fixed product list.

Every space is drawn to the general arrangement, agreed with the naval architect, then built from lightweight solid-wood frames over veneered composite cores. Finishes, upholstery and fixings follow the marine materials schedule, and the shipyard process sets the approval points that keep the yard's dates. Send the vessel details to the Milan studio to begin.

Which spaces does Modenese Gastone furnish on board?

A yacht interior is a set of connected spaces, each with its own role and its own rules. Modenese Gastone treats them as one scheme so carving, finish and weight stay consistent from the formal reception rooms to the wheelhouse, whatever combination a refit or new build calls for.

Main saloon

The vessel's formal reception room, carved and gilded in the classic language but built lightweight and sealed for the sea. See the main saloon interior in detail.

Owner's suite

The private apartment of bedroom, lounge, study and bath, drawn as one scheme and fitted with marine fire-rated upholstery. See the owner's suite interior.

Guest staterooms

Compact cabins carved to matched proportions, with concealed fixings and humidity-resistant finishes so each guest room reads as part of the same interior.

Formal dining

Dining tables and seating with reduced-weight stone or timber tops, secured against motion and finished to sit alongside the saloon.

Sky lounge

The upper social space, furnished lightweight with sealed surfaces and fire-retardant upholstery specified to MED or SOLAS where the layout requires.

Wheelhouse lounge

Seating and joinery for the wheelhouse area, drawn to tight dimensions with concealed marine fixings and finishes formulated for damp, salty air.
